BUSINESS APPLICATIONS – HOTEL COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

Business applications refers to any application that is important to running business. Business applications can range from large line-of-business systems to specialized tools. Consider all the applications that run on either client computers or servers, including commercial off-the-shelf products, customized third-party systems, and internally developed systems.
The term Business applications covers a large variation of users within the business environment, and can be categorized by using a small, medium and large matrix:

The medium size, or small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), has a broader range of software applications, ranging from accounting, groupware, customer relationship management, human resource management systems, outsourcing relationship management, loan origination software, shopping cart software, field service software, and other productivity enhancing applications.
Enterprise level software applications, such as those in the fields of enterprise resource planning, enterprise content management (ECM), business process management (BPM) and product lifecycle management. These applications are extensive in scope, and often come with modules that either add native functions, or incorporate the functionality of third-party computer programs.
Business application are built based on the requirements from the business users. Also, these business application are built to use certain kind of Business transactions or data items. These business application run flawlessly until there are no new business requirements or there is no change in underlying Business transactions. Also, the applications run flawlessly if there are no issues with computer hardware, computer network (Intenet/intranet), computer disks, power supply, and various software components (middleware, database, computer programs, etc.).
Business applications refers to any software that is principal to going for walks business. Trade applications can variety from gigantic line-of-business techniques to specialized instruments.
