Mayajaal

Mayajaal is an entertainment center in Kanathur, Chennai, India. It is located on the East Coast Road and spread over an area of 30 acres. It consists of a shopping mall, a multiplex, a sports complex and a resort.

Mayajaal has 16-screen multiplex & it is the largest multiplex in Asia. The sports complex was started in 2003, which also hosted the Indian Cricket League matches.

The Resort was opened in 2005 with 40 rooms. The 30,000 sq.ft shopping mall was opened in 2006.

How to reach :

By flight : Chennai International Airport, which is the third busiest in India. is the nearest airport. All international flights arrive at Anna Terminal, while the domestic flights arrive at Kamraj Terminal.It is the second-largest cargo hub in the country, after Mumbai. Chennai is well connected to London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Malaysia, Middle east, New York, Hong Kong, USA, etc. It is also very well connected with all the major cities in the country.

By Rail : Chennai has two main long-distance train stations, Chennai Central (code MAS) and Chennai Egmore (code MS).Central has daily trains from/to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad , Kolkata and virtually all other major Indian cities. Egmore has trains which cover all the places in Tamil Nadu and also a few important places outside it. it has one of the best rail networks in the country. The city is connected internally by a system of suburban trains, which are highly efficient and inexpensive.

By Road : Chennai is connected to all major cities by roads. The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) runs an extensive city bus system and transports an estimated 5.5 million passengers daily. Maxi Cabs(Van) and share auto rickshaws ply many routes inside the city and provide an alternative to buses. Metered call taxis, tourist taxis and auto rickshaws are also available on hire.Chennai transportation infrastructure provides one of the best coverage and connectivity. Outstation bus services originates from Koyambedu.

Different Types of Cleaning Cloths and their uses in housekeeping

There are different variety of cloths which are used in the housekeeping department for performing various cleaning activities like wet and dry cleaning by the housekeeping staff. For efficient and correct usage of these cleaning cloths same should be colour-coded and also the staff need to be well trained on selecting and using different type of cloths for specific type of cleaning. Swabs:   These are all-purpose cloths made of soft, absorbent material. They are used for wet cleaning and damp dusting of all surfaces above floor level. They can be also used for cleaning sanitary fittings such as bathtubs and wash basins. Wipes:   Wipes include loosely woven or knitted cotton cloths and non-woven cloths. Synthetic sponges may also be grouped under this category. They are available in various sizes and shapes. Sponges are better than cloths for washing walls, woodwork, glass and upholstery. Dusters:   These are meant for dusting and buffing. Soft, absorbent plai
