Tata Steel Zoological Park

The Jubilee park in Jamshedpur, has a zoo called Tata Steel Zoological Park. The zoo displays many worthy animals. The zoo is spread over an area of 37 hectares interspersed with wooded area and manicured lawns and gardens.

The main objective for creating the zoo in Jamshedpur was:

To provide a place for recreation, education, research, conservation and captive breeding of birds, animals, reptiles, aquatic animals etc.

To create a natural environment for birds, animals and other creatures where they can live in simulated natural conditions and without any fear for their lives.
